After listening to the Kanan Tape
, I got the feeling as if it could have been a full-fledged, big budget album for the artist 50 Cent. Around that time, I was also listening to The 50th Law by Robert Greene. From this semi-autobiographical peek into the bleakness of 50’s life before he was famous, I began to get an image of this cover in my head. I started sketching the idea and a year later got around to building it out in Cinema4D. Visually infusing his drug trade with the nine bullet shells he was riddled with back then — I felt that this was a fitting cover for his next major release. Below are two options with two color tones.
